OLIVER, OLIN AND MARTIN LAKES DECAL
The Association now has another decal for your vehicle to show support for our lakes. For ease of illustration, this picture shows black with white lettering. The actual decal is white (not black) and the lettering is negative space (not white). The cost is $10 with all proceeds going to the Association. Get yours today! Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be contacted.
The 2014 Lake Directory has been distributed to Association members whose 2014 dues are current. If you have forgotten to submit your dues, it is not too late. Mail your dues to Mike Renno, the OMLCIA Treasurer. This directory is published biennially. The next directory is planned for 2016.
TOWING SKIERS AND TUBES
Oliver Lake has many shallow areas. Sometimes our lake guests are unaware of these shallow areas and pull skiers and tubes in an unsafe manner. Each resident of Oliver and Martin Lakes received a map of Oliver Lake with the 2014 spring newsletter. Please post this map on your refrigerator so everyone is reminded about safe boating. Remember all the RED indicates a depth of LESS than 5 feet. This map is also posted on the kiosk at the public launch.
FOR YOUR FUTURE PLANNING
From Mark O'Shaughnessy: Announcing Olipalooza once again for Labor Day weekend (Sat 8/30 with rain date Sun 8/31) at the O'Shaughnessy back lot. In the spirit of a true Festival I want to solicit interest in anyone wishing to play. Once we have a list of interested "Acts" I will create a schedule that can be published so people can come for their favorite Acts. The start time will be predicated on the number of Acts.
